 Oxygen scavenging technology comes to flexible packaging
Working from within the film, this new material will absorb residual
oxygen and inward migrating oxygen for extended shelf life.
Used in conjunction with gas flush packaging with levels of 1% residual O2, scavenging is
activated within hours, by product moisture assures steady O2 uptake.
Scavenging O2 also protects cured products from UV light. Oxygen aids UV light affect on
sensitive products.
Break away peel
Consumers want packages that are e-z to open, producers want zero package failures.
We have bridged the gap with our break away peel technology. Our structures allows for e-z
open peel while sealing positively in the most heavily contaminated sealing applications.
PP with high oxygen barrier and Anti-fog
New PP/EVOH/PP with anti-fog offers applications in MAP to utilized PP sealants.
PP sealants allow for higher film heating temperatures resulting in faster rigid tray thermoforming
and increased production. Combining with a PP peel allows easy open packages.
